Year 6 enjoyed taking part in The Big City Read live event with comedian, presenter and author David Baddiel. The children were able to listen to David discuss the themes of the book and answer questions about his favourite authors, the process of writing children's fiction and even how he co-wrote the 1996 hit 'Three Lions'. He also treated us to reading aloud extracts from his books 'AniMalcolm', 'Head Kid' and 'The Parent Agency', which was selected as this year's Big City Read book. 3000 children across the city took part in this annual event and each child will receive their own copy of 'The Parent Agency'.
