On Tuesday 22^nd November, Stamshaw travelled away again to face Barncroft in our second Hampshire Plate match. With a rotated squad of players, spirits were high. Stamshaw took the lead in the first half with Ronnie calmly passing the ball into the net and in the process, becoming Stamshaw's record goalscorer. A defensive error allowed Barncroft to equalise and despite Stamshaw's dominance, the Barncrotft defence held firm. After a busy second half, the game was level at the end, so penalties would decide it. Sadly, the lottery of penalties favoured Barncroft.

A great display from all the players who did themselves and Stamshaw proud, even if Mr Barrand did run down the sideline after the first goal!
