Stamshaw Junior V Barncroft Primary
On Tuesday 14th March, a team of Year 4's faced a Barncroft team. An end to end game, full of drama and excitement. Finishing the first half 1-0 up, Stamshaw headed into the second half with optimism. A Barncroft resurgence levelled the score and a goal by Lance gave Stamshaw the hope of a hard-earned victory but again, Barncroft rallied and scored a second to keep the game even.
The game finished 2-2 but the Year 4 boys showed resilience to keep playing even when it seemed the most difficult. They also showed great respect to the other team and coaches and made the school proud.
